日常の見え方を変えるための観察と制作のワークショップです。参加者は、普段歩いている路上から、自分が魅力的だと感じる石を一つ拾い、スケッチをしながら、形、色、模様、質感などを細部まで観察します。その後、石粉粘土を使って、拾った石を実物そっくりに模刻した後、絵の具で着色します。彫刻家の橋本平八やジュゼッペ・ペノーネの作品を手がかりに、身近な自然物を見つめ、手でつくることを通して、ものの見え方や認識の変化を体験する実践です。

This workshop explores how observation and making can transform the way we perceive everyday surroundings. Participants select a stone they find appealing from a familiar street and closely observe its shape, color, patterns, and texture through sketching. They then use stone powder clay to create a detailed replica of the original stone. Inspired by the works of sculptors Heihachi Hashimoto and Giuseppe Penone, the workshop encourages participants to reconsider familiar natural objects through close observation and hands-on making.
